Qrendi is a small and probably the most picturesque village of Malta, located in the south of the island. Having modern suburban developments being built, it is quite popular among new settlers. It is mostly famous for two well-known Neolithic temples, Hagar Qim and Mnajdra, being said to be the oldest standing structures in the world, and listed with Unesco World Heritage sites.

Living in Qrendi, you will have a choice of attractions. You may wish to visit the war memorials, the Commander's Garden or two particularly interesting buildings - the Octagonal Tower and the Guarena Palace, both of which were built in the 16th century. You could also walk to the coastal inlet known as Wied iz Zurrieq, from where boat trips to the Blue Grotto leave daily to the magnificent Blue Grotto.
