If you are looking for a rather small and quiet, upmarket residential area, Iklin should be your choice. This modern village, taking its name from wild rosemary (L-Iklin in Maltese) growing abundantly in this area until not far ago, is located on a hillside in the Central Region of Malta. Being established in the mid 20th century, with a gradually growing number of villas and commercial outlets since then, Iklin is not as young as you might think it is.
